Mary Unk’s Final Project
I have always been passionate about mathematics and education, so for my final project, I decided to make an educational math game. The game I have created consists of 15 separate pieces of a castle. The goal is to be the first to build the entire castle. Ideally this is a game being played by multiple children at once; however, another option is to set a timer and try to build the castle within a set period of time.
Each castle piece is labeled with a number from 1 to 15. The game is accompanied by worksheets, with instructions and 15 problems each. These worksheets range in difficulty, so that the game can be played by children of multiple ages and varying mathematical ability. Further, I like the concept of the game I created because it can be adjusted to be a game for any subject. All that needs to be done is the creation of a worksheet with 15 questions.
Below are some images of the materials that correspond with the game.
