Shaurya Sinha – Project 3

Inspired by my education at Denison and my admiration of the liberal arts, I was driven to create a sculpture that reflects the value of curiosity. In my experience at Denison, I have learnt to appreciate the importance of learning how to learn, and to grow my curiosity through an interconnected web of knowledge. To reflect that I chose to create an interactive sculpture, placed in front of the library, that combines intersecting circles into a sculpture that can be molded into different shapes. This ‘seed of curiosity’ holds the ability to promote students to take a given interconnected structure and explore different possibilities in forms and shadow impressions.
