Jarrett Dillenburger Project 1
This 3D musical staff is an assignment for my 3D printing class. This is a prototype for a more correct musical staff with more advance musical notation and functionality. For this particular design, the musical whole notes and treble clef can be removed from the staff by sliding them to the edges. A tight fitting under locking mechanism allows for relatively stable placement of the individual components.
To remove for the first time, carefully use a knife/scalpel to weaken the supports underneath the notations and around the attached “ball and post” locking support. Then, take a hard object (I’ve used a pencil) and carefully hit the ball attached to each notation within the sliders to dislodged it. Be careful though! Too much force can break them.
